Face painting info
Children and adults will love the magical experience of being painted and are
fascinated by the transformation. While my designs look intricate, they only
take between 5 to 6 minutes. I can paint around 10 - 12 full faces per hour.
Alternatively I can paint smaller designs for a larger audience. If you would
like more than one face painter, I can help there too!
Face painting association member
I have been a member of FACE
(Sam Fisher), the Face Painting Association for a number of years and I adhere
to their strict code of practice. The professional Face Paints used are always
water based and above all, are safe. They are hypoallergenic and have
antibacterial properties that are designed for use on the face and body. Face
paints can easily be removed with mild cleansers, a small amount of soap with
water or baby wipes. I will not paint children with cold sores, runny noses,
conjunctivitis, open wounds, or any other infectious skin complaint or who has
eczema or an open cut on their face. We will of course offer an alternative
i.e. to be painted on their arm with a design of their choice. Some children
may be allergic to a wide range of common products. If you have any concerns
about your child's reaction to face paints please do not hesitate to discuss
them with me before your child is painted. It is always possible to do a patch
test or paint a small motif on the hand to be on the safe side. Children under
three years old should only be painted using recommended type of paint called
Snazaroo as some products are not recommended for under threes. Please let me
know if you require me to paint anyone under that age so that I can be fully
prepared for the occasion. I hope you find the information useful and enjoy
looking at the colourful faces!
